Lori
The Lori Province (Armenian Լոռու մարզ) is an administrative-territorial unit in the north of Armenia. The province occupies the eastern part of Gugark province of historical Armenia and the northern ranges of Nig and Ayrarat provinces. The present-day Lori region was formed as a result of the unification of Tumanyan, Gugark, Spitak, Stepanavan and Kalinin regions, which were part of the Armenian SSR, as a result of the 1995 reforms.
